Oh nice. I've been trying hard to learn how to do it on photoshop but with no luck. Seems like most of the tuts out there are for illustrator.

I honestly don't think that I'm qualified to make an official critique, so I won't. I do like the piece, placement is good, the offcenter gives a good impression of motion, and the stars in the BG are a nice tough, it'd be way too dead without them. In the upper left, there's some funkiness going on with the background layer, not sure if it's intentional, but I'd look at cleaning it up. Good color choice, too, the usual with a lot of vector is to use very bright, sometimes approaching neon colors, and the slightly more subdued tone works well. Overall, very nice, and I'm not usually a fan of photos mixed with vector work.

Oh, and on a purely personal note, I would consider looking at giving the mountains a bit of a brushed look if you tweak this, I just think it would look nice.
